Der er møde i kollektivet i aften. Jeg frygter lidt, at det bliver endnu en af de her seancer, hvor jeg sidder tilbage, som et spørgsmålstegn, fordi jeg ikke har fået svar på mine spørgsmål.
Der er ét punkt på dagsordenen: ”Skal vi have stråtag på hovedbygningen, og hvem kan anbefale en god tækkemand på Fyn?”
De vigtige punkter
Nå, det vil sige at der i virkeligheden er 2 punkter på dagsordenen: 1) Stråtag på hovedbygningen, og 2) tækkemand – hvordan, hvem, frivillige?
Jeg har boet her i kollektivet i 12 år og har været glad for det. Men her på det sidste er, det blevet lidt for meget med kollektiv-demokrati og beslutninger hen over hovedet på os, der ikke har mulighed for at bestemme. Og det gør mig meget bekymret.
Jeg har altid været en varm fortaler for, at vi skal følge traditionen her – med stråtag på Fyn – og bevare bygningen bedst muligt. Men jeg har altid mødt en masse modstand. Der var en masse argumenter imod stråtag. Fx det der med brandfare. Holder de sig ikke orienteret om nye teknologier? Man kan jo få membraner i dag, der beskytter mod brand, men som samtidigt giver et stråtag mulighed for at ånde – og eventuelt huse små dyr og fugle.
Fætter tækkemand
Det andet punkt på agendaen, ved jeg godt, hvor ender: En af beboerne her i kollektivet har en fætter, der er tækkemand. Godt nok ikke på Fyn. I Jylland. Han er god. Men meget dyr. Så jeg håber, at der vil være forståelse for, at jeg anbefaler tækkemanden, som jeg lærte at kende for 14 år siden. En flink og hyggelig mand, som er mindst lige så god som alle andre tækkemænd. Og han bor her på Fyn. Skal jeg ringe op til ’min tækkemand på Fyn’ og få ham til at sende mig et godt tilbud?
For ca. 30m år siden købte vi et smukt hus på Fyn. Det var drømmehuset. Massevis af plads. En stor have, hvor børnene har boltret sig i mange år. Og som nu måske snart skal bruges af vores børnebørn?
Vi bruger ikke længere hele huset. Hele den øverste etage er faktisk lukket. Vi har ikke brug for så meget plads længere. Børnene er jo flyttet herfra. Vi har da også overvejet at få en ejendomsmægler herud for at kigge på huset og fortælle os, om vi kan sælge det til en god pris.
Reparation af stråtag?
Men tanken om at skulle sælge huset giver os begge to kuldegysninger – langt ind i huden. Vi kan ikke forestille os, at vi skal skille os af med det. Vi har jo så mange gode minder. Lige fra dengang vi ikke vidste, hvor man kunne finde en tækkemand på Fyn til dengang, hvor vi akut måtte lede efter en, der kunne varetage reparation af stråtag hurtigt. Vi kan huske, da vi fik vores første tørretumbler og den glæde, jeg udtrykte over ikke længere at skulle stryge min mands uniformsskjorter tørre, fordi han skulle bruge dem her og nu.
Ikke et klatrestativ
Vi kan naturligvis også huske de dårlige øjeblikke. Fx dengang vores yngste i arrigskab klatrede op på stråtaget, og ikke ville komme ned – også selvom det tordnede og lynede. Vores angst for, at der skulle ske ham noget, var så stor. Heldigvis blev han så våd i regnen, at han kom frivilligt, inden vi måtte klatre op og få ham ned med tvang.
Så ja, det her med at sælge et hus, man har levet mere end sit eget liv i – men også sine børns – er ikke en helt nem beslutning. Det er jeg fuldkommen sikker på, at du forstår lige så godt, som du forstår, hvor vigtigt det er at føle sig hjemme.
